GPA 4S Jock Up Helmet TLS

Like every GPA, the 4S Jockup was created around protection as a priority. The 4S is a technological revolution with its 4 layers which allow optimal shock absorption as well as better resistance to lateral compression. The 4S Jockup TLS helmet combines comfort and safety, it is THE JOCKEY’s helmet.

The classic chinstrap is replaced by a hybrid system, a new exclusive from GPA providing better neck protection and reinforced support. Straddling the Twin Lock System and the traditional chinstrap, its rear part is made of thermo-composite resin and injected fibreglass. Its nylon attachment straps, covered with imitation leather, close with a two-part buckle (male and female).

Thanks to its rigid part at the back which extends the shell, the Hybrid chinstrap guarantees more extensive protection and better support for the rider's head.

Thanks to its numerous front and side openings and its rear extractors, this helmet offers maximum ventilation.

This new liner is made of one piece and is removable which makes it easy to wash or renew it. It slips between the shell and the liner using semi-rigid plastic tabs. Its soft and fluffy fabric is antibacterial treated, providing unparalleled comfort.

The range of 4S helmets is designed from 4 elements whose sandwich superimposition gives remarkable damping ability, as well as better resistance to lateral compression.

1. Outer shell, made of injected polymer, protects against contemptuous elements (which could perforate the cap) and dampens a first part of the shock waves by deforming or breaking.
2. Second layer of high intensity EVA foam will absorb and resorb some of the waves of shock, reducing the energy that will be transmitted to layers 3 and 4.
3. Third layer is an injected polymer shell reinforced with fiberglass. This cap, more rigid than that of the 1st layer, reinforces the helmet in the event of crushing while absorbing a part of the energy and adds extra protection against the harsh elements.
4. Fourth layer is the expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner which completes the absorption and transmit shock waves by crashing under impact. It thus protects the cranial box from cephalic lesions.
